On 1 February, the Town of New Tecumseth hosted its second annual Winterfest.
On 1 February, the Town of New Tecumseth hosted its second annual Winterfest, featuring a number of outdoor activities in the parking lot of the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre. Both ice pads were also open to public skating. The days was well attended by hundreds of happy families.
The Rotary Club of Alliston set up a welcome table in the hall of the arena. Here’s Past President Brian Carmichael, who was on hand to introduce Rotary and all we do for the community.
We also offered each adult visitor a chance to win a gift card. Our winner was Simonetta Pallotta, a teacher from Beeton. Pictured here with Rotary member John McFarland, a grateful Simonetta explained, “I never win anything!”
